Prep children have particular needs compared to older students who are already well on their educational journey. At Noosa Adventist College we have purpose-built Prep facilities and special care for our Early Learners. These include:
In Prep we begin teaching by using a ‘play based’ system with specific goals and outcomes for your child’s first year of education. Learning can take many forms:
All learning is done in small groups, with rotations of activities. Consideration is always given to individual student abilities and interests.
Learning follows the Australian Curriculum for English, Maths, Science and Social Sciences with Art and HPE.

NAC is located on 30 acres of semi-rural land offering your child plenty of opportunities to learn, play and grow in the great outdoors. The campus has stimulating play equipment, neat student gardens, bird coup, large sporting areas, and a forested area with a creek.
Our College may be small in size but we are big in so many ways. Most of all, your child will not be lost in the numbers. We aim for smaller class sizes, with quality academic outcomes. There is a strong sense of community within the school and our extended school family. You’ll find a warm and welcoming environment in which your child has a valued place within our school.
N.B. Students looking to enrol in Noosa Adventist College for Prep, must be five years of age by 30th June, as per Education Queensland’s policy on the commencement of school.
The College is a co-educational day school currently catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 12. The College is open to students regardless of their religious affiliation, ethnic background, gender or national origin.
Noosa Adventist College acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land on which we gather and we pay our respect to local Indigenous Elders and leaders past, present and emerging, and recognise the strength, resilience and capacity of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
